I am primarily a portrait artist but when I have some down time I love to paint landscapes and a few still lifes. Duane Keiser has inspired me to do A-Painting-A-Day or rather, a-painting-every-FEW-days! So here goes....
I am a native Atlantan but studied in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and lived and worked there for 8 years. Since moving back to Atlanta, I have been painting portraits of children and pets full time and when I have free time, I love to paint landscapes.
I work in both pastel and oil. I am also the co-founder of the Atlanta Fine Arts League and the creator of Art From The Heart, a project where Atlanta area artists paint the portraits of Georgia's fallen soldiers free for their families.
