New Copperpoint Series
This is a series of drawings I have been working on in the evenings. They are drawings done in silverpoint and copperpoint, all about 5x5 or so.
A silverpoint or copperpoint drawing is made by dragging a silver or copper wire across a specially prepared surface. Once mark is down it cannot be removed like graphite can be with an eraser. The metal will tarnish with time and the copperpoints turn a warm green and the silverpoints turn a warm silver red.
